In addition to practicing law, I am an adjunct professor at Pepperdine Law School where I teach trial advocacy related skills. I graduated from UCLA as an undergraduate and then Law School and have practiced as a trial lawyer for many years, mainly in California, but I have tried cases in other states. When I got out of the service, I went to college, where I met and married my wife. Britain did not have the GI bill and its military uniforms were not as smart as GI uniforms!! I was naturalized as an American citizen while in the Army. If I went back, I would have undoubtedly been drafted into the British army. Because I was not an American citizen but I was in this country on a permanent visa I was told that I didn’t have to serve in the US Army, but if I didn’t, I’d have to go back to England. To protect the public and our employees, we have a donation box located in our loading dock area in the back on Kearney Street, Monday through Friday, 10:00AM to 4:00PM. We also welcome mailed donations. If you have computers to recycle, now is the time to act! We are accepting computer donations through our recycling center located at 6035 E. Individuals are unable to safely seek healthcare without access to telehealth programs. To connect these people, we are looking for computers 8 years old, or newer, to refurbish and distribute. PCs for People is a nonprofit that has provided refurbished computers to more than 115,000 individuals in all 50 states, and connected over 96,000 people to low-cost internet. Seniors are facing isolation and need to connect to critical services.

The prolonged closures of schools is causing many students to miss out on the opportunity for an equitable education. PCs for People is asking for help from the public to meet increased demand for computers, especially laptops, for those unable to afford them.
